Wayne L. "Speck" Rogers, 96 of Kenton passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. He was born in Hepburn on October 12, 1928. On August 28, 1951, he married Arlene Carpenter and she preceded him in death on January 7, 2022. Speck is survived by his children; Chris (Carol) Rogers, Keith (Christine) Rogers, Tab Rogers, Brent Rogers and Shane (Laura) Rogers. He is also survived by his brother, Clayton "Buzz" (Jeanie) Rogers, grandchildren; Shad, Laurel, Erin, Jessi, Taylor and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Wade Rogers, parents, Clarence and Bertha Rogers, stepmother, Esta Rogers, brother, Gerald (Brenda) Rogers, sisters, Vivian (Gerald) McNutt and Norma (Bill) Neal and one great grandchild, Layton Rogers. Speck was a 1947 graduate of Kenton High School. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy. Wayne owned and operated Rogers SOHIO station in Kenton for many years.
